Dinner at Mom's

Dinner will be at 4:00 p.m. at Mom's on Sunday. XXXIX viewing is authorized downstairs. (BYO caffeine.) Mom's requirements are 1) we must sing a Natalie Sleeth Easter Choir piece together and 2) we must discuss the upcoming family campout plans due to the Manti Pageant being the same weekend as our original dates.

We need salad or veggie tray, fruit, and dessert. Also, any XXXIX viewers should bring their own snackies.

December 4 - Mom's again? That's too far to think about.

Unless someone disagrees, perhaps we can agree that the family responsible for hosting is also responsible for deciding on the menu, getting a headcount, and notifying others of what they can bring (with at least a few days notice).

Mmm... looking forward to dinner at Derek's.

Family Campout

I checked on the dates for the Manti Pageant and of course it was June 16-18 and June 21-25. Since we decided we didn't want to hassle with the pageant if we were going to Palisades State Park, I contacted the state park reservation department regarding our alternate dates of June 9-11. Unfortunately, the group site was already taken. I remember, from having been there before, three sites that are close to each other with a field in between and asked about those (sites 14, 15, & 16 or 3, 4, & 22). The individual sites cannot be reserved until February 17th at 8:00 a.m. The reservation agent recommended I call right at 8:00 a.m. as that is the first day the reservation system is open for a variety of state parks.

So, my question is this (since we have more time to figure it out): Do we want to keep the original weekend (June 23-25) and find a different location, or still pursue the 9-11th at Palisades? Comments, please.

Sunday we'll have dinner at Mom's at 5:00 p.m. and plan the dinners for 2005; please have an idea of dates you would like to host the dinner (2 per family). We also need to discuss our family campout dates and locations so bring your calendars and ideas!

Derek - Any chance you guys may be back this summer sometime for campout planning purposes?
