Mentos and Diet Coke
This was a great video demonstrating the effect of Mentos combined with Diet Coke. The "scientists" set off Diet Coke geysers like the choreographed fountains you'd see if you visited the Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas.
It was fun to read what caused the geysers. I'm thinking my boys may enjoy this activity, if we're careful.
